The First Annual Sangha-Palooza will be held on Saturday September 11, 2010 from 11:30 to 4:30pm.
Sangha-Palooza is the first all-sangha East Bay Meditation Gathering of its kind — bringing together mindfulness practitioners from diverse sitting groups, sanghas, religious and secular organizations, as well as individuals interested in cultivating present moment awareness from all over the East Bay. Our intention is to offer this as the first of what will become an eagerly anticipated annual event.
Please join us for a uniquely inspirational and historic community gathering. Have fun, join with others from various dharma communities in the East Bay, cultivate present moment awareness, and enjoy the day!
Participants include:
Americ Azevedo (UC Berkeley), The Berkeley Zen Center, The Center for Transformative Change, Charity Focus/Karma Kitchen, Chochmat HaLev, Clear Dharma Sangha, the Dharmata Foundation, Dzogchen Community West, Earth Medicine Alliance, East Bay Aikido, the East Bay Healing Collective, the East Bay Meditation Center, The East Bay Open Circle, Empty Gate Zen Center, Eve Decker and Kent Welsh, Infinite Smile Sangha, Insight Meditation Community of Berkeley, The Mahasiddha Center, The Meditation Project, the Mettadharma Foundation, Sean Feit, Wes Nisker, and others…
