Here are a few good blog posts from a few good organizations. These sites cover centered social justice work, reproductive justice, and the benefits of mindfulness.
Interaction Institute for Social Change (IISC)
“IISC stands with a global community of skillful visionaries, grounded in love as a force for transformation, achieving social justice for all and sustainability for the planet.” A fantastic blog site, IISC includes hopeful ideas, information, and articles about spiritual activism, sustainability, structural transformation, collaboration, liberation, social networks, and more.
Whether they include comments about Newt Gingrich, genocide and the Thanksgiving holiday, or bringing spirituality to the Occupy movement, Sojourners’ blog talks about faith, politics, and social justice. As an organization they “seek to discover the intersection of faith, politics, and culture,” no matter what your spiritual background may be.
Asian Communities for Reproductive Justice (ACRJ)
An old favorite, ACRJ’s blog keeps on top of what’s most timely for women and families by selecting relevant articles from various Internet sites. As an organization ACRJ works for reproductive justice and empowerment.
Mindful schools teaches young people how to meditate, but their blog site is useful for anyone interested in being more aware of their actions. A few of their recent posts cover changing habits and mindful eating, things anyone might want to change.
